USB PassPhrase

I recently left my job and saved some personal files from my work computer to an external USB drive. I do not know the key phrase that was used, and I no longer have any computers with Sophos Safeguard installed. What is the best way to decrypt this drive so that I can recover my files?

    Hello Jennifer,

I'm afraid you can't decrypt the drive without the password, I would suggest creating a notepad document of all the passwords you might have set then go through each one systematically.

Other than that the only solution would be to speak to your previous employer and ask them if they would be kind enough to allow you access to the files if you sent them in.

    Good luck with it Jennifer.
