Windows Autologon into Sophos Credential Provider

Hi,

We use SafeGuard Data Exchange (SGN version 7.0) in our environment on Windows 7 physical clients. Once SafeGuard Data Exchange is installed, it boots up to Windows the login screen. There we see the Windows Credentials Provider and the Sophos Credential Provider. Some of our clients need to autologon. I've used Microsoft's Autologon but it does not log in automatically using the Sophos Credentials Provider. Is there a registry edit or 3rd party tool (FREE) that can allow the PC's to automatically log-in using the Sophos Credential Provider?

Any and all suggestions are welcome!

    Hello Encrypt83,

If you enable POA you can enable something called Passthrough to Windows, basically once the user has logged in at POA they are booted straight into Windows.

  • Thanks Toby, that worked with Autologon straight into the Sophos credential provider. Would there be a setting or way to accomplish this same authentication without enabling the POA? So it boots up without having to log into POA but still boot straight into Windows using the Sophos Credential Provider?
