Safeguard Error: Connection to Host process failed (error Code 0x6be). Any suggestions would be great!

Trying to Encrypt an external WD My Book Drive. Near the end of the encrypting, i get a Sophos Safeguard Error: Connection to Host process failed (error Code 0x6be). Any suggestions would be great!

I have the same problem, is there a suggested solution for this? Would appreciate any response.

What version of SafeGuard is this please, and are you using SafeGuard encryption or BitLocker?

Hi Michael,

We are using the Safeguard version 7.00.0.97. We have configured Disk encryption. It was working fine a week ago, but now throws an error.
