having a lot of difficulty pushing out SafeGuard Encryption with SCCM

I have over 70 machines encrypted with SafeGuard on our network but need to do about 250 more. I a have played with GPOs, trying to push out the MSIs but not had any success. Sophos previously wrote a script for me that was specifically designed to use with SCCM, but it is not very consistent. The majoriy of machines end up in ERROR status, Message ID 10006. I have noticed that most machines do get the software pushed down to their C:\Windows\CCMCache but that is usually it. When this happens it is not unusual to find a log file with "There appears to be a pending reboot on the computer.  Please reboot computer and try installation again." I run the dep itloyment with the RESTART option checked, but it does not seem to always take. I also have a couple machines that report in SCCM as "SUCCESS" Message ID 10040, with a DESCRIPTION of Program will not rerun. This is fine if SCCM is attempting to process a machine that already has already been encrypted, but I have a couple machines that DO NOT have SafeGuard software installed on them yet SCCM seems to think everything is ok. It is like a previous attempt to encrypt machines flipped a switch somewhere in the registry that reports in that the machine has previously been completed. Are there any suggestions on how I can stabilize my encryption process?

    Hello Jim,

I would suggest booking some time in with whoever wrote that script for you, it's hard to know exactly what to do without understanding your network configuration, the SCCM deployment settings or the contents of that script. Your account manager should be able to help further, if you don't know who that is you can call in to our customer care team on +44 (0)1235 559933 or by emailing customercare@sophos.com
