Create a Certificate? Attempting to ease POA

Hello all. We have a few clients that are now running the SafeGuard Encryption software and we have enabled POA. However, it seems somewhat tedious to have to login at the POA and then have the user login to windows so that a certificate is generated for them for future use. I understand that this is really only a one time thing but like I said, it seems somewhat tedious to have to do this for each and every user.

I suppose the simplest version of my question would be: Is there an easier way that we are missing to get through the POA? By this I mean is it possible to have the user be able to login through the POA the very first time rather than having user1 login through POA then have user2 login to Windows?

    Hi there,

Rather than adding the users manually at machine level you can assign users to the machines in the SafeGuard Management Centre via Users and Computers > Expand your domain > Click on the machine > Click on the Users tab > Assign the users you want to the machine.

  • Will this work to get past POA if the user has not logged into the machine since the Safeguard Encryption was installed? Or will the user need to first log into the computer before they can get passed the POA even after we add them in the management center?
