Update Lancrypt Database failed

I have installed Lancyrpt 3.61.025 on Windows 2003.
In the first step I will upgrade to 3.90 on the same machine, and then Migrate the 3.90 to Windows 2012 on new Hardware.

I execute the sglcadm.msi from the 3.90 Version, after the Setup is finished
I will upgrade the MS-SQL-Database.

When I enter

createtables SGLCSQLServer m u

I get the message

Open Database                                                   [OK]
Check for existing schema/owners                [Failed: 0xffffffff]


What can I do to upgrade the Database.

    Hi Ewela64,

    Please check your SQL version. The oldest version of SGLC 3.9 support is SQL express 2005 SP4. Createtables.exe will fail if you try to update by using MSDE 2000. If so, please try to upgrade the SQL server to 2005 first. Thanks.
