SafeGuard Management center RDP from different PC not allowing to open the console!

The Management server running on Windows 2008 R2 (which is on VMware) when I RDP from computer1 using username1 I can open Management console with Security Officer1. But when I trying RDP from computer2 using useername1 unable to open the management console, keep getting certificate not found message!!

Now I have to change the PC how but only from that machine RDP is working.. not sure what is wrong...

    Hi Jibs,

When you setup the SafeGuard Management Centre there's a certificate that gets added to the Certificate Store in your Windows Profile. The following restrictions apply to Remote Desktop connections to a client which has SafeGuard Enterprise installed (you'll likely find issues going to the MC from a client aswell):
    - SafeGuard Enterprise only allows one user session, so when a remote user logs on to the system, the remote connection attempt will fail unless the currently running session is shut down.
    - Remote logon with token is not supported.
    - A remote session does not have access to the user key ring. Only the machine key is available.
    - Access to key ring after closing a remote session.
    - A user's key ring is no longer accessible after an established remote session has been closed. The client machine has to be rebooted in order to restore full access to the user's key ring. Just logging off and on is not sufficient to regain access to the key ring.
  • Thanks Toby, but how can I add that certificate to my new desktop, even if I try with other security manager its working only from one dektop. (If I open the RDP from computer1 then take the session from computer2 I can access the MC!! this is strange . Rebooted the server and started the RDP from computer2 not working. Also directly from VM console I'm unable to open the Management Console!

    thanks,
