Encryption Looping on Startup

Hello,

One of our end users is using a Dell Optiplex 790 with Version 7 of encryption. When using VGA only it loads fine and the POA screen but but when VGA and a display port to DVI cable is plugged in it loops continuously just before the OPA screen. Does anyone know a fix do this?

    Thanks for getting in touch.

    Does this issue occur with both a warm and cold boot?
    Firstly I would make sure you don't have something like FastBoot/RapidBoot/QuickBoot enabled in the BIOS.
    Secondly I would make sure the BIOS is upto date.
    Lastly I would try out the hotkeys and see what settings you can toggle on/off to try different configurations:
