Updating Bios not from windows

I wanted to know how users handle updating Bios on machines that do not support update from windows.

For example I have an HP ProBook 6560b and its bios updates are done via an EUFI that has a one time boot to this before booting to the actual installed OS. The issue is POA does not allow for this by design. Is there a way around this other than totally uninstall, decrypt to do a 2 minute update to reinstall everything?
