When will Safeguard Disk Encryption make it to Windows 8 and above?

As a company we would prefer not to use Bitlocker as the only method of encryption and we will be switching from Win7 to Win10 within the next year.

    Hi Kenneth,

    Unfortunately from Windows 8 onwards it's only possible to use SafeGuard with BitLocker.
    There are no plans to bring Full Disk Encryption to Windows 8 and above, Sophos is leaving the encryption side to BitLocker due to the encryption/decryption time being drastically shorter and the fact that BitLocker is built into the OS so has a great deal more support / is more reliable.
