How can I automatically encrypt a Safeguard Client by policy?

In the article KB 108411 the decryption method is explained, but in the end the user of the client-system has to start the decryption progress manually.

Is there a way to decrypt the client automatically by policy without end-user interaction?

    Hi Jan,

    To automatically encrypt by policy you just need to set a Device Protection policy to apply to the target volume you want to encrypt and set the Media Encryption Mode to Volume Based.
    Save that policy, sync it to the client, reboot if necessary and you should be good to go.

    In terms of decryption this can't be done automatically, once the policy is applied the end user must trigger the decryption.
