Safeguard 5.6 and 7.0 Credential Provider

Hello,


we have Safeguard Easy 5.6 and 7.0 installation in the field. Right now we want to implement Palo Alto Global Protect. Global Protect bring their own Credential Provider and Credential Provider Filter for SSO.

We enabled Wrapping in the Global Protect Credential Provider to get the Authentication from the Safeguard Credential Provider. Most of the time it works, but sometimes it happens that the password could not be grapped from the Safeguard Credential Provider. Instead of that the value of the Password is "Image". And then the SSO in Global Protect fails.

Do you have any idea why this happens?

    Thanks for posting this query.

    As a first step please upgrade to SafeGuard 7, 5.6 is not only quite old but it's also no longer supported.
    You should find after upgrading that you don't experience any further issues, but please let us know the outcome.
