Mac SafeGuard client does not synchronize with Server

Mac SafeGuard client does not synchronize with server (displays red X icon in "Server" page of client preferences). It appears that appropriate client-config ZIP file was applied, and correct Server certificate is shown and trusted. Cannot locate logs on the MAC to show what specific error might be occuring in the sync process.

Please help!

  • You HAVE to use SSL with Mac - do you have SSL setup?

You can disable the SSL requirement though for testing - may be worth trying that so see if the client then connects with the server as expected?

    in the Terminal: sgfsadmin --disable-server-verify

I did have compatibility issues with Sierra and 8 too - I had to upgrade to the latest version at the time for it to work as expected.
