SafeGuard Enterprise Single Server

I am planning to deploy SafeGuard Enterprise on a single virtual server and was curious if that will bite me later.  All the documentation seems to split the database and the management into two servers.  Is there something I am missing or can I run them together?  I just started working with this software and I could not find a solid answer searching thru support.

We are starting with a small deployment of 40 systems, but that number will increase to 400 or possibly 1800 depending on managment decisions later this year.

Thanks,

Todd

  • Hi Todd,

there is not a problem with running the SafeGuard Enterprise Server and SQL Database on the same machine.

For redundancy / availibility of service, I'd recommend to separate components to different machines. (Hint: separation of components to a different machines can also be done later if required)
