login issue with certificate and old password

I mistyped my password when logging into windows/unlocking my PC and now I am prompted for my old password each time. I have not changed my password. I can hit cancel and get right into windows. I enter my password at the certificate prompt and it says unable to import certificate.

This usually occurs when the password stored by Safeguard in its certificate is different to the one you're using in Windows.
If your running a managed installation of Safeagurd you can delete the certificate and create a new one with the correct password using this guide:
