Help! Set up local key but it doesnt appear in the 'show all keys'

Hello,

I am trying to encrypt a file onto my USB and sharing this externally.  I have set up a local key and this has synchronised with Sophos.  When I come to encrypt the file, my local key isnt available when i 'show all keys'.  Not sure why?

I have tried using the USB in another machine and it is still the same problem.

I have external sharing rights - been given the right certificate and when i click on the shield icon to display key ring - the local key that I have set up is there.  So I'm not sure what the problem is?

I shall be grateful if anyone can offer some advice?

    Hi xoAims,

    I suggest to check the assigned "Removable media encryption" policy and make sure that the policy does include an option to use the local key (i.e. General settings | Key to be used for encryption | "Any key in key ring").
