Details are as follows:
Computer: Fujitsu Lifebook T Series 5010
OS: Windows 7 Professional
Software: Safeguard 5.60.1
The Fujitsu laptop was given a clean install via Windows Deployment Services. After booting the system teh first time, I installed any Windows Updates along with some of our other software like Symantec DLO. I was able to push the Sophos Protection to the copmuter, all went as expected.
I then proceed to push Encryption. The client machine eventually gives me the restart message. I reboot the machine and see the Sophos Encryption screens and the automatic logon screen. I am then taken to the Starting Windows screen... the laptop has been stuck there for a few hours.
I turned off the machine (no, I don't believe anything was running as the first two encryption pushes we did went smoothly and did not "pause" or freeze at the Starting Windows screen) and rebooted it, asked about Launching Startup Repair or Start Normally... if I start normally, I get the same issue, freeze at Starting Windows. If I do Repair, I receive a blank screen.
The machine is definitely compromised and its pretty obvious that the Sohpos Encryption software is the potential reason. The machine is unbootable and I don't even know if I can get into it to run debugging or reports.
What are my options here?
