We have an issue which happens intermittently where by all clients (which are all laptops) will stop communicating with our SafeGuard server. This can sometimes happen twice in the same week and then it may work fine for a month or so. Each time this happens I am forced to reboot the SG server and all of the clients will begin to contact the server again.
This can cause quite a problem if a user changes there AD password whilst there is this communication problem as it means the new AD password is not synchronised with POA casuing confusion for the user as they need to log in to POA with their old passord and then Windows with their new AD password.
When this happens I am unable to find any evidence on the server as to why communication between the server and the clients has stopped.
We are using SafeGuard Enterprise 5.6.1 and a mixture of windows XP and Windows 7 clients. Any help would be appreciated on this.
