Cannot find the decrypt option and cannot connect to Sophos safeguard server from my laptop.

Hi

I can succesffully deploy the safeguard in the server and also in my laptop ......

But i am unable to find the decryption option and cannot connect to Sophos safeguard server from my laptop.It says as failed.

But i can able to assign the policy to the laptop and its assigned also........

If i click the synchronize from my laptop it says trying to connect the server and failed and says as last sync unknown......

Please help on this....

Do i need to install a seperate package for decryption? is it?

You need to create a device protection policy including "User may decrypt volumes" set to "Yes".
If the communication between client and server does not work you might want to go through
the Client-Server communication troubleshooting guide, which you find here: http://www.sophos.com/en-us/support/knowledgebase/109662.aspx
You might also want to check the SafeGuard Enterprise Installation best practise guide if you have setup your environment in a functional way: http://www.sophos.com/en-us/medialibrary/PDFs/documentation/sgn_61_bpg_eng_installation_best_practice.pdf

You need to create a device protection policy including "User may decrypt volumes" set to "Yes".
If the communication between client and server does not work you might want to go through
the Client-Server communication troubleshooting guide, which you find here: http://www.sophos.com/en-us/support/knowledgebase/109662.aspx
