SafeGuard Easy multiple authenication

Hi All,

I wants to use the USB token to authenticate user at POA. Then uncheck the pass-through windows. At the Windows Authenticate screen, I use fingerprint to login Windows. Is this work? Please advise. Thanks.

Best Regards,

Samuel Chu

  • Hi Samuel,

this should work if you add "Token" (and "Fingerprint" if you want to login at Windows Credential Provider level with the SafeGuard Fingerprint Credential provider - leave Fingerprint out if you want to use a different Credential Provider) to the SafeGuard Authentication Policy and set  "Pass through to Windows" to disabled.

The POA will display the Fingerprint dialogue if you boot the machine (depending on the setting above) which has to be closed via a ESC-keystroke so the POA will display the Token PIN dialogue if the Token is inserted.

The Boot will then stop at Windows Credential Provider level where you can proceed with Fingerprint authentication.
