We are currently running SafeGuard Enterprise 5.5 on a Windows 2003 server. Our DB is on separate SQL 2012 server.
We need to migrate to a Windows 2008 server, as well as upgrade to Enterprise 6.1.
We are also beginning a deployment of new assets and all currently-deployed assets will be reclaimed.
What is the best way to proceed? Migrate our existing management server to a new 2008 server and upgrade, or start fresh?
Does anybody have experience doing something like this? I greatly appreciate any help you can provide.
