Sophos SafeGuard File Share - Inactive Keys

hi,

I tried this Safeguard feature and I put a key on a group to encrypt some files.

I've tested to remove the key that becomes inactive and we are now unable to read the encrypted files.

Is there a way to activate back the key ?

    Hi MicB,

    you can use the SafeGuard Management Center and re-assign the encryption key to the group again, so the users regain access to the encrypted files after synchronizing with the SafeGuard Enterprise Server. (Hint: if you search for the key but cannot find it, switch the "Filter" settings from "Assigned" to "Inactive").

    Once the users can access the files agian you can either keep the encryption in place or de-crypt the files and remove the encryption policy from the users.
