Data Exchange Question (key store not initialized)

Greetings:

I have assigned a root key set to be used amoung all USB devices that are encrypted on the root level. On a machine, I am able to view the encrypted files (green key), however, on the same machine, when I log off and on as a different user, I see the same file encrypted (red key). I have this PC in a test OU where it has the same Root key and policy set to allow any user on any PC to be able to view encrypted files without entering an MediaPassPhrase by going through SGPortable. I go to keyring and I see the message "The Key Store is not initialized". Another message I read is "Your user account is currently not assigned to this machine. Only users who are assigned to this machines can change their Media PassPhrase.

Does anyone have insight on what might be happening here?

Well, the second user is not assigned to the machine. Unlike Windows you need to explicitly allow the user to log on to this very machine.

As soon as you have done that and a sync happened the second user, which you have also assigned the key to, will be able to read the files.
