How to migrate LAN Crypt server?

Good afternoon,

Actually I have LAN Crypt 3.61.0.25 installed on a Windows 2003 R2 SP2.

I want to install the lastest version (3.90) on a new Windows 2012 server.

What is the Sophos recommendation to do it?

Upgrade LAN Crypt first and then migrate to another server?
Migrate the server and then upgrade LAN Crypt?

Hello,

please befor you begin with any steps, make sure that you have a Backup of your Databse available. I would first migrate to the new server and then upgrade SafeGuard LAN Crypt Adminstration to 3.90 (see KBA Link Below).
