Problems with the sync between the client and the sophos safeguard server

hi,

My problem is when I'm trying to make a syncronization between the client and the server, in the client show me a not syncing error, this happens with an dinamic ip, but when I put a Static IP the client can sync succesfully with the server, my server configuration is a DHCP for all my clients so I need to know what's happening, thank you.

Morning All,
This problem just take a little twist, from the client's computer I can make ping to the server but not connect via SOPHOS for synchronization to refresh the policies and keys , I already try the solution

Have you run an INVOKE test?

See the SafeGuard Enterprise installation best practise guide, section 4.4 www.sophos.com/.../sgn_60_bpg_eng_installation_best_practice.pdf

If the invoke fails then follow the guide from step 1.0 onwards ;)

I've just updated / published a KBA that might fit to your problem. If you distribute proxy settings via DHCP, you might want to check out the following knowledge base article:
SafeGuard Enterprise Client is unable to communicate with the server due to an outdated WinHTTP proxy configuration
