Non Boot volume failed status encrypting

Hi All,

As per subject above we encounter issue with Non Boot volume error code 3 as shown below.

Does any one enncounter same error or issue, appreciate if you guys can share other solution or root cause of the issue? .

At this moment best and fastest way is to delete the drive and create back then the encrypting is running. Thanks

    Hi Azwan,

    It sounds like you have a policy set to stop encrypting on found errors.

    I recommend running a chkdsk on the drive to ensure it's in a healthy state and review the drives S.M.A.R.T data to ensure the levels are within normal.

    This policy is setup via Policies>Policy Items>Device Protection>Proceed on bad sectors.
