Sophos Encryption -> Device AD Group

Hi,
we are using the Sophos Encryption and we have create a device policy.
After that we have create an AD group and sync that. This works fine and i can find that group in Sophos Central.
But if i try to add this group to my device policy i can't see this group. Only local created device groups.
If i create i user policy i can see that group.
Is it not possible to create AD groups to a device policy?

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Do you know if the group you created is a "User Group" or a "Device Group"? This will affect which policies you can use the group with. It’s possible to create both user-based and device-based policies for Central Device Encryption if needed.

Hi,
the encryption policy is a device policy. But in this policy i can only add local device groups, no AD groups. Thats my problem......
I will add an AD group with devices from my AD to this policy.

Do you know if the group you're trying to interact with is nested within another, or is this a top-level group?

Hi,
it is a normal AD group in an OU.
I imported this group with Sophos AD Sync utilitiy but i can't add this group to my device policy. Only to a user policy.
