Disabled user account

We have users that go on medical leave and their AD account gets disabled while they are out. When the user comes back from leave the AD account gets re-enabled but the Safeguard account stays disabled. This requires manual intervention in the console to enable the user account. When Safeguard syncs with AD (twice a day for us) should it not see these changes and re-enable the Sophos account if the AD account has been re-enabled?

  • Are you using the provided scripts with the Task Scheduler for the syncs?  There is a configuration option you have to edit that script to enable which tells the sync job to check the AD account disabled state and sync it.

    synchronizeAccountState = 1
