Where starts the encryption in case of storing data on a server

Hi there,

I have a technical question.

In case of using the enterprise version of SafeGuard (files will be stored on a Microsoft Windows Server file system), where/when starts the encyptrion?

Is the way / data transport from client to the server and vice versa also crypted?

Are there some technical papers available to prove this?
