Migrate Safeguard 8 to another server

Hi,

We want to migrate an existing SafeGuard 8 installation to a new VM with a new OS. The old VM will continue running for a while. I'm sure there must be a how-to somewhere but I can only find a guide for v6 and 2003... :)

Anybody who has the steps required, or link to a migration guide?
