I have setup a server client test environment for SafeGuard Enterprise 7.0 and I tested all functions needed for laptop/desktops to have the hard disks encrypted. My setup was with a workgroup instead of domain. Currently, we have worked with our ISP to setup external access to this server through an F5 proxy. They confirmed that they could ping the address we told them to setup in DNS and I can access the /SGNSRV and /SGNWHD sites in a web browser. I cannot get the client to communicate with the server on an external connection even though I can get to the address in a web browser. I am thinking that it is a certificate problem or cert name problem but I do not know exactly what the issue is. When I run the INVOKE test, I get: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <string xmlns="tempuri.org/.../WebService> <DBAuth>failed</DBAuth> <Error>A database exception occurred.</Error></string>.
I have checked all that I can think of and I cannot get the client to communicate. I have created new certs for server/client comms and changed the server name, removed and re-installed the server config and client config, installed new cert on the client. I can't seem to figure out what I am doing wrong.
Can someone point me to the correct config to set this server up correctly with an external IP address??
Thanks in advance.
