SafeGuard Credential Provider Login Timeout

Hi - What version of the SafeGuard client are you running? There was an issue with one of the earlier releases (I think 8.00.0.251) where there would be a significant delay to log off/lock screen. We experienced it in log in too.

There was a hotfix for this - https://community.sophos.com/kb/en-us/127082 but I would upgrade the client to the latest version - I believe 8.00.5.18 now (but you can only apply 8.00.5.18 to 8.00.5.16)

We are running v8.00.5.16, which is not affected by that issue according to the bulletin you linked. Thank you for your response though.

Good news you're running the latest client. I don't see any delays here when my laptops log on off the domain though, this is odd. Are your PC's bound to AD?

Yes, our PCs are joined to AD. I'm wondering if I could maybe perform a Procmon boot log and dig a little deeper.

Probably wise. All my laptops are bound to the domain and they all log in with cached creds and other than those that had the outdated client issue - I've never seen a delay in logging in. There is a difference between Sophos CP and the Windows CP but it's negligible really. Do all clients do this?
