SGPortable - File Copy takes so long

Hello - With encrypted USB sticks using SGPortable, dragging files into the USB stick takes a crazy amount of time to copy over. For example, copying a 4 byte text file is taking around 3 minutes. The windows copy dialogue box just sits at 'calculating' at 'time remaining' 

Ive tried this on various sticks and get the same thing. Using the same stick on a non Sophos machine works fine, no issues. 

 

The laptop is high spec, no nothing to do with that. Without Sophos, usb sticks copy fine. 

 

Any way to get around this ?

    The plot thickens here. 

     

    I have Sophos Central installed also. When 'Detect malicious behavior (HIPS)' is enabled, files copied to USB take an age. When its disabled, files copy over fine.


    BUT....

    With Safeguard uninstalled,  and 'Detect malicious behavior (HIPS)' is enabled, files copy over fine. It looks like a compatability issue. 

     

    Come on Sophos !!
