SafeGuard Easy

Hi all,

I wonder if anyone can help me. I recently bought a cheap laptop from a bankrupt office supplies company and the laptop has safeguard easy on it with username/password. This loads up before you get to windows. So the question is will the UBCD be able to boot up the machine and will i then be able to remove this program?

Hi there - You will be best flattening the drive and reinstalling Windows to be honest. Best to boot from DVD/USB before the HDD boots and you should be fine. Remove all partitions on the drive to ensure it's a nice clean rebuild.
