How to remove old login icon

We seem to be having issues where some of our users are refusing to use the Safeguard gear icon to log into their PC's. Is there anyway to force them to use the Safeguard gear icon?

Hi - Yes there is. There are some side effects of this though, so I would test this to make sure you're happy with the way it works. 
 I tried this and found it messed with some of Windows settings/functionality so I have just decided the best approach is user education. I produce a guide which goes out with each machine too which helps.
