FEEDBACK - have added my XG to the EAP

Hi,

my V18 EAP2 XG has been added to the CFM EAP. Took sometime and I don't think the instructions are that clear.

1/. there needs to be one standard definition for CFR to distinguish from UTM, CFM they are not very clear as to what each does. Also within XG there are two central management functions.

2/. there needs to be one definition for a licence - is it a licence, a serial number or something else?

Hi Ian,

Thanks for the feedback. My apologies but I'm having difficulty understanding what you mean by 1 and 2 above. Could you expand on this and maybe share a screenshot or two to help clarify?

Hi Rob,

without recreating my CFM setup I can't get screenshots.

When you register a firewall you are shown a screen with S/N is big red letters then you are asked to provide a licence number.

The other point is in the XG GUI there are two places under different tabs to set-up CM, CFM and that leads to confusion at least in my mind.
