  • Hi,

I think there is another bug in the v20 DHCP server. I had global addressing enabled and created a device in two different subnets. There were issues with other devices picking up incorrect addresses as well their own static  assigned address, so I disabled global. Th tissue is the device I created into subnets is still being assigned two IP addresses, one from each subnet even though there is no record in the DHCP active assignment list of the second address being assigned.

Now the issue being in local you are not able to assign the same MAC address to two different subnets, th original assignment is still in place and there are no errors, the device is picking up the address and accessing the network through the wrong rule as well as the correct rule. The device has two clientless entries under different names and different IP addresses.

I think the bug is even though the global has ben disabled, because the MAC address is still assigned in both subnets, the local setting is not fully enforced.
