V19 EAP rumoured for October 2021

Hi folks,

some questions for those in the know

1/. will the daily reports be fixed so they cover 24 hours

2/. will the classification/category function be fixed

3/. will IPv6 be brought to IP4 parity at the very minimum in preparation for a complete so-wan function

4/. will the same device name be allowed in both ip4 and IPv6 XG dhcp servers

5/. will the same device name be allowed in multiple XG dhcp network servers

6/. Will the IPv6 dhcp assignment list show all active assigned addresses

7/. will the IPv6 dhcp assigned lists have resizable columns

my thoughts and maybe wishes.

    It is still soon. 

    As V19.0 EAP will bring up changes within the product, it needs to be tested before release.

    Soz I understand where you're coming from it will require Alpha testing but as far as the EAP / Beta isn't that the whole reason it rls's EAP first to get it tested by the EAP community???  Even so im disappointed as it was suggested mid Oct the V19 EAP would become known but yeah now Mid Nov and no sign still not even on the Partner Community??,

    Sophos wants to release a near productive quality release and not a release, which could break entirely etc. See Central and other platforms. Most, if not all, EAPs are actually usable in productive setups, if you want to take "the risk of breaking something in edge cases". The same for firewalls as a primary device in most setups. Therefore the quality of the release should be acceptable for releasing to the wide.

    I understand about the quality release, but so up todate information about release dates would be good and even v18.5.6.
