My Home Edition of Sophos said that it could not clean a certain issue and gave a link in the message.

 My mail is presently down. On mac and presently running disk utility and then hopefully restarting and my mail program will not crash. Any suggestions?

Hi Jim , 
 As Sophos on Mac do not remove files which is either encrypted or a time machine backup. Hence we present the option to remove the file manually. If the mail does not work then you may try to disable Real time scanning and check again. If it still does not work then it would seem the issue was not caused by Sophos and you may re-configure the mail agent.
