Please stay tuned for more upcoming information regarding this exciting release!
Thanks for the update!
Thanks for the information. The new features are substantial enhancements I appreciate. Personally, the YouTube changes are frustratingly past due.
Will the XG Firewall v17.5 have a public beta phase?
I'm so READY to test this!
Where is IPv6 update?
Spf?! - Where is DKIM and DMARC support?! ;)
Will this update allow PPPoE IPv6?
"Client Authentication – gets a major update". Does anyone know whether this includes STAS?
We will have Ipsec with Bind interfaces (like cyberoam) to provide dynamic routing over IPSEC?? And with this migrate old Cyberoam OS to Sophos OS ?
the STAS is unfortunately very unreliable technology and the Synchronized User ID should completely eliminate the need to continue using STAS.
Ok. Now that's an update ... MTA based on EXIM is certainly more than welcome. Hope XG's logs improvement is more than than just one column added ... It is unworkable as it is. Client Authentication ... Hope that includes a far better STAS. VPN Client was very enoying since connectiong to many different VPN meant re-installing the client each and every time. But. Where's the NTP server ???????????????????? Paul Jr
Any technical documents on these features? PDFs etc ta
Some reading about Exim ...
Some comments I read on he net:
Exim is not designed for storing mail for dial-up hosts. When the volumes of such mail are large, it is better to get the messages “delivered” into files (that is, off Exim’s queue) and subsequently passed on to the dial-up hosts by other means.
There are some things that Exim does not do: it does not support any form of delivery status notification, and it has no built-in facilities for modifying the bodies of messages. In particular, it never translates message bodies from one form of encoding to another.
Waiting for the beta to test it
Waiting........ for V17.5 Beta
