Meine Sophos (home) macht aktuell Probleme. Per Mail bekomme ich folgende Meldungen

das ganze kommt nach jedem reboot und alle 3h

unter /var/storage/cores werden die dumps angelegt.

Das Problem besteht seit dem Update von 9.506-002 auf 9.508-10

eine Neuinstallation mit 9.506-002 habe ich gemacht, Problem hat nicht mehr bestanden. Dann wieder auf 9.508-10 und schwups hat er wieder coredumps angelegt

    Its installed on ESXi.

    the vmdk is saved on raid1 volume

    i installed a new utm 10 days ago with 9.506 and it works perfect, but after update to 9.508 the proxy restarts every 2hours

    Was bedeutet hwinfo: vm86 mode not supported on 64 bit kernel?
    Eingestellt ist die VM als "Anderer Linux-Kernel 3.x oder höher (64 Bit)"

    Hallo Dan,

    (Sorry, my German-speaking brain isn't creating thoughts at the moment. [:(])

    If you've tested your hard drive as Ian suggested and it's all A-OK, then I might suggest a different VM.  Do you have the same problem if you select SUSE Enterprise 11 Linux and use VMXNET3 NICs?

    Hey Bob,

     

    Ich habe eine neue VM erstellt, bin mit dieser auf 9.506 gegangen (install image) und habe das direkte Update auf 9.508 gemacht und das Problem ist wieder aufgetreten.

    Als Betriebssystemtyp nutze ich "Anderer Linux-Kernel 3.x oder höher (64 Bit)" mit den angesprochenen VMXNET3 NIC's

     

    Heute habe ich 9.507 installiert und keine Probleme. 

     

    Als nächsten Schritt werde ich den Typ auf suse Linux stellen und dann auf 9.508 gehen....schauen wir mal!

    Aktueller Stand:

    VM mit 4 Cores und 4GB RAM, VMXNET3 und "Anderer Linux-Kernel 3.x oder höher (64 Bit)"

    installiert mit 9.506-002 vom Grundimage

    Update auf 9.507-001 gemacht -> alles läuft wie gehabt.

     

    Werde denke ich die nächsten Tage auf 9.508 gehen. Schauen wir mal

    selbes Problem unter 9.508. Wenn der WebProxy ausgeschaltet ist, läufts. Ist ja aber auch logisch.

    Habe das Problem ebenfalls mit einer auf der QNAP laufenden VM. RAID5 ist soweit ich untersucht habe okay. Das Problem trat nach dem Update auf 9.508 auf. Ein Update auf 9.509 hat es nicht gelöst.
