Currently Partner Dashboard Administrators are unable to see or use any newly added Two Factor Authentication (2fa) configurations. A partner will only encounter this issue if you have recently attempted to change authentication methods.
Original 2fa configurations continue to show at login, and continue to work, including the original email + pin option.
This does not affect Enterprise Dashboard, or Central Administrator dashboards/logins. This article is specific to Partner Portal Dashboard logins only.
There are two areas where you can see your configured two factor authentication methods for your account. Both areas are currently not sync'd and will show a discrepancy between the two if you have recently added any new 2fa configurations.
What to do
- You will not be able to use any new 2fa configured methods until this is resolve. Please continue to use your original method of two factor authentication in the interim.
- Sophos is actively investigating this issue and expect a solution to be released August 25th. This article will be updated if there are any changes to this timeframe
