When installing on a single pc i get the following error "installation failed: could not register with sophos central". Any ideas, the pc has access to the web and does not go through a proxy.
had to delete the pc from sophos central. works after that.

After deleting the PC, what to do next? Could we just add it back again then re-install the client on the machine?

Just re-install the endpoint. It will automatically add it back to Sophos Central. You'll then just need to add it to your chosen computer group.
Hopefully, that misleading error will be put right in future :)
