Offline Decrypt of Laptop

Laptop is Dell Latitude 3570 running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

SafeGuard (not enterprise, not Home) Encryption ... SG 7.0

Received report that a user cannot boot into Windows for BCD Boot error.

Went to repair the Windows issue, but found file system in RAW

Believe file system is RAW due to Disk Encryption

Retrieved Recovery Key XML File for specific machine and Booted into SG WinPE Image, but unsure what step is next. Recovery XML File does not appear to do anything?

Is the machine encrypted with Safeguard device encryption or Bitlocker encryption?

If its Safeguard device encryption please take a look at the following article. http://sophos.com/kb/112846

If you are using bitlocker please see http://sophos.com/kb/120833

Failing that please contact the support desk and open ticket and we can look into this further.
