"Please enter your password to complete the logon."

Hello!

We have a few tablet PC we just deployed and they are getting this message "Please enter your password to complete the logon." every time they log in.  They can cancel, or they can enter their password and it will allow them to proceed.

This is SafeGuard enterpise 5.6, the tablets are running Windows 7 64 bit.  We didn't use an OS image on these becuase these are specialty tablets for our EMS units and each has special hardware, so we aren't sure if there is a problem with the OS load or something else.

This isn't the certificate-out-of-sync type of message, it just requires the user type their password every time.

We do not use POA.

Any ideas?

    Hi,

    do you use the SafeGuard Enterprise Credential Provider to authenticate to the system or any other (i.e. Windows) credential provider?

    The request for credentials after logging on to the Operating System is usually only triggered if the SafeGuard Credential Provider was not used.
