Email Container and Apple Push Content secure?

Hi,

We are currently evaluating SMC. Apple Push has been configured between APNS and the SMC Server.

I am aware, that the Connection to the APNS uses the certificates created during the setup of the APNS, but what about the content of the push notification?

Does the SMC server push contents of emails etc to the APNS servers? Is that content encrypted not only in transport (via TLS) but also at rest on the Apple APNs?
