Windows 10 or Windows7 for Sophos Enterprise Console

Hello Everybody,

For Sophos Enterprise Console (SEC) installation Windows Server Operating System (Win 2008 to Win 2016) recommended.

Is that possible that SEC can be installed on Windows 7 or Windows 10 OS ?

If possible then how to prepare Win7/10 for the installation ?

    Hello Riyad,

    for the management server the System Requirements mention just Windows 7 as non-server OS (with the note that it's not recommended), Windows 8/8.1 and 10 are not included. There are no specific requirements for Windows 7 other than those that apply to the server OSs, keep in mind that the number of endpoints you can support and manage with a desktop OS is very limited.
