ecryptfs (Linux) and access error - ignoring files/folders for live scan (Sophos anti-vir)

Ever since installing Sophos anti-vir on Linux (Ubuntu 12.04) with encrypted home directory, I regularly receive the following error messages:

kernel: talpa-deny: Error occured while opening /home/.ecryptfs/azamir/.Private/ECRYPTFS_FNEK_ENCRYPTED.(...) on
behalf of process (...) owned by 1000(1000)/1000(1000) <60>
savd: Error detected: 0x3c: Unable to write to talpa socket in /home/.ecryptfs/azamir/.Private/ECRYPTFS_FNEK_ENCRYPTED.(...)

There is also a popup each time that happens which is quite annoying. Is there a way to just ignore certain folders?
