Event Decode Unavailable: Access is Denied

I'm having an issue with a new image which reports this error to the console:

Event Decode Unavailable (Event Number: "-2147024891" Message Code:"SAVXP.2147942405" Inserts: "Access is denied","","","","") [0x80070005]

It is a new image of Win7 that, while configuring, had Sophos accidentally pushed to it because of a GPO I had assigned to its OU. I moved the computer out of that OU, uninstalled Sophos, sysprepped, and booted again to test. And it's currently showing that error message.

I was able to find this forum topic detailing a similar situation, but I tried the suggestion in it and the error still persists. Any ideas?
