Enterprise console upgrade - DB on SQL Always on cluster

Hi, We would like to upgrade our Enterprise console from version 5.4 to 5.5.
I understand the databases must be upgraded first, and found the following article community.sophos.com/.../116465 on upgrading the databases in a clustered SQL Server environment.
My question is, is there a separate process / document for upgrading the databases when using Availabilty Groups in SQL?
Do you just connect to the availability group Listener?

Hello Michael,

I'm not aware of a specific article (other than Are SQL AlwaysOn Availability Groups supported ... and the Information on 5.4.0).
Actually the database must be upgraded first is nothing more than running the 5.5 install scripts in the same way as the 5.4 scripts for the initial install.

Any solution for this Issue yet?

We´re currently trying to Upgrade 5.5.0 to 5.5.1 but the DB Upgrade script insists on an %instanceName% which doesn´t exist with SQL Always ON

excuse the perhaps dumb questions (I'm not at work so ...). What fails at which point of the Upgrade workflow and how as I'm not sure what you mean by DB Upgrade script? The 550 databases reside on ...?
